To mark International Women’s Day, Magic FinServ had the pleasure of inviting our remarkable women employees to share their wishes, experiences, and advice on this special day with us.

It is no secret that women are widely underrepresented in business, and females equate to less than 30% of the FinTech workforce.

Let’s take this time to celebrate the women who are making a difference in advancing opportunities in the FinTech space and hear their stories.

The world needs more women who are unapologetically themselves, who embrace their flaws and celebrate their strengths. We are that woman. we have the power to break barriers and shatter stereotypes. Keep pushing forward and inspiring those who come after you. Happy Women’s Day – Nisha Sharma

“A strong woman understands that the gifts such as logic, decisiveness, and strength are just as feminine as intuition and emotional connection. She values and uses all of her gifts.” by Nancy Rathburn. So, always be a first-rate version of yourself instead of a second-rate version of somebody else. – Sharmistha Ghosh

The growth of the company depends on the dedication and hard work of the employees. Applauding the big efforts of our female employees on International Women’s Day who amazingly manage their personal and professional lives together taking the growth of the company to new heights. Being an independent woman is one of the most important steps in achieving your life’s ambitions. Women need to focus on the things in life that make them happy, and not on what makes someone else happy. A strong woman is the one who can dare to raise their voice for the cause she believes in, she is the one always willing to help in empowering the other women. Here’s wishing an amazing Women’s day to the ladies who are furious and magnificent too!! Never settle and never look back.. – Rashmi Tyagi

Marie Curie wouldn’t have won the Nobel Prize twice for her work in radioactivity… Ada Lovelace wouldn’t have written the first computer program in the world. Coco Channel would not have set up an empire (worth millions today) … She would have remained a milliner. If they did not have the courage to break the bar and the ceiling along with it. Hence, sharing the words of Sheryl Sandberg – If you are offered a seat on a rocket ship, don’t be foolish to ask what seat. Just get on. There’s a lot you can gain by seizing the day. Carpe Diem and forgetting that you are just a woman. – Aradhana Khanna

Everything is theoretically impossible, until it is done. Becoming a leader in the tech industry is quite challenging and yet exciting. We must be constant learners and stay on top of trends. Many women believe that they can hardly make it to the top in technology. That is not true. Our skill sets, backgrounds, and experiences can bring a unique perspective to innovative solutions. My advice to women is to seek out new experiences, give your best and dare to fail; take the initiative and ownership of what you do. It will open up more opportunities. We can achieve so many things and go as far as our ambition takes us! Wishing all the incredible women, Happy International Women’s Day! – Ruchi Aggarwal

Do not doubt yourself and stop selling yourself short of your abilities and capabilities, you are more than what you think! Do not limit your potential, be fearless to take on challenges and push boundaries in order to learn and grow. – Shikha Sharma

Be a queen when you think, be a queen when you decide, no one has the power to defeat the tremendous power inside a woman! Her strength can cross any hurdle in her life!” Happy Women’s Day!- Anubha Puri

Let us pave the way for the next woman in tech and encourage her collectively.

The future of FinTech is female.

What have you learned from your children?

“Patience and clear communication is a must with kids.” – Shweta Sharma, Consultant, Sales

“To be curious, inquisitive about lots of stuff in the world. Every day she asks ‘n’ number of questions on different topics related to different countries, their cuisines, their languages, geographies, uniqueness, culture etc. On a lighter note, I have learned making emojis by hand, and off late have started listening to K-POP music because of her latest craze for Bands like BLACK PINK and BTS.” – Rashmi Tyagi, Assistant Vice President, People Matters

“To be always happy, even with the smallest things.” – Deepika Pant, Assistant Manager, People Matters

What’s the best thing about being a mom? And the hardest?

“Best thing about being a mom is you always have your kid around you, and they can turnaround your day in seconds. Hardest part I believe is feeding them. Needs a lot of patience.” – Komal Sharma, Consultant, Advisory

“I love their innocent questions. As a mom I love all the moments when we feel proud when they do well or when we arrange little things for them to see them having fun. The hardest part is also when all blame comes back to us as a mom if anything goes sideways.” – Shweta Sharma, Consultant, Sales

“The best thing about being a mom is the unconditional love we have for each other. She is Mumma’s daughter. The kind of bond we share I believe it will be hard to find. More than a daughter she is a friend. We love spending time with each other, cuddling each other for hours, just lie down in bed while sharing our stories, daily routine, experiences etc. We cherish every moment we spend together, be at home or during our regular weekend outings. Hardest thing would be to show more patience when she acts stubbornly.” – Rashmi Tyagi, Assistant Vice President, People Matters

“Best thing is that you have to be active, good listener, empathetic & be like octopus to do multitasking. This is hardest as well.” – Deepika Pant, Assistant Manager, People Matters
