Role: Business Analyst
Job Location: Noida
Experience Required - 5+ yrs

Responsibilities

  •  Participate and Lead requirements workshops, sometimes including many business SMEs who are geographically distributed
  •  Provide full and comprehensive documentation of all new and updated requirements
  • Work with the global development teams and users through the development lifecycle, including testing
  • Liaise with the development team to integrate application solutions into the end to end systems environment as directed
  •  Liaise with Testing team to schedule and execute regression test processes, and to create new regression test scripts as directed
  • Plan and conduct impact analyses of functional changes
  •  Be responsible for gathering requirements engaging with global stakeholders, create the functional specification by liaising between users and technical teams to analyze requirements, design solutions and manage the development and deployment of resulting projects
  •  Prepare UAT scenarios, provide input into test scripts preparation and provide guidance to end users through the same process
  •  Support developers to develop and customize the user requirements, system workflow, and database structures to meet new and changed business requirements
  •  Work closely with the Program Manager and other team members to ensure that the changes being developed:
  • are fit for purpose and meet the documented business requirements
  •  do not unexpectedly impact other system functions
  •  keep full records of changes made and create release documentation that will allow the promotion of the development package to other testing and UAT environments
  •  on request, investigate incidents that the support team have diagnosed as relating to application configuration
Must have

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree from a reputed Engineering College or MBA from a reputed B-school
  • At least 5+ years’ experience as an expert in the Capital Markets industry
  •  At least 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
  •  Experience covering complete SDLC working with front, middle or back office systems
  •  Knowledge of Middle to Back office space like reference data, confirmations/affirmations, settlements, reconciliations and transaction reporting across multiple asset classes
  • Good knowledge of technical architecture and functionality of applications used to support the business
  • A strong analytical and logical approach to systems design and development
  •  Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Through the usage of techniques such as process modelling, use cases, obtain, capture, validate and document business requirements to ensure completeness, relevance, and accuracy
  •  Ability to plan, prepare, and facilitate UAT test cycles, managing defects, and issues to resolution
  • Can show deep knowledge and experience around the risk and controls within the financial industry
  •  Good communication and documentation skills in the English language
  •  Enthusiastic about the new age technologies and their implementations in the industry – Blockchain and Machine Learning
  Good to have
  • Experience supporting configurable package software solutions with a Global user base for a large financial institution
  • Knowledge of programming and SQL and development background
